Balance Disc – Improves Your Overall Fitness Level
This Balance Disc may look small but its benefits are huge. Need to get more of a challenge to your workout? Never thought a strength program can start with something as small as the disc? Well, you are in for an awakening. The disc is only 13 inches in diameter and it’s inflatable! Which means depending on how much air is inside the latex free vinyl disc will determine how much stability challenge you’re looking at.
Make it firm and balance exercises will become more challenging especially if you are doing them with just one foot on the disc. Less air gives you more stability. If your coordination has been wading on you, you might want to use less air, but as you gain strength increase the disc with air until you are comfortable. The portable Balance Disc features a knobby texture on one side and a smooth surface on the other side. Standing on the disc works the smaller muscles, tendons and nerves required for the delicate movements helping to improve ones athletic ability. But you don’t have to be athletic to use the disc.
Place the disc on a chair to help support better posture, or try kneeling on it with one knee while your other knee extends forward. Then reverse to the other knee.
